It’s like a cover up, all shiny and clean,
Only they know what it means.
They lie and cheat undermine our thoughts
What have we done after we’ve fought?
Destruction and terror surround their life,
I’d hate to say I am their wife.
Their little bubble protects them yet,
It also seems to make them forget,
All of their contradictory behaviour,
Leaves us in awe of the power.
They say it’s our right to vote them in,
We’re forced to choose, him or him,
The choice is ours? Oh, not so,
I see them less as friend and more as foe.
20, 30, 40 years,
Eventually I will close my ears.
I’ll vote because you force me to,
Not because I care for you.
Dictating our every move,
You wonder why you can’t improve,
That glossy, bald head of yours,
Is full of air, but not more.
I’m sick of seeing your face everywhere
Leave me alone, get some hair.
