Apathy is Dead
I don’t want to do this,
Coz I know that at the end,
I told you so’s and laughter,
I thought you were my friend.
Live to see me fail,
Or just to see me try.
Watch me as I flail,
Listen to my cry.
Falling to the dirt I see,
What no one ever said.
My face to you a mockery,
For thoughts you’d leave undead.
Friends are fake or so I’ve learned.
Hesitation is the key.
You’d think at most of what I’ve learned,
I’d know how to be me.
Trust is like the air we breathe,
Although it’s never there.
Foundation cracks spear to me,
Invisible beware.
